  • Grenaded reverse. ?

Put my car into reverse to back into my garage, foot slipped off the clutch, tires wheel hopped and BOOM.. Reverse is gone.

Broken reverse gear? Or what could have happened?

Would standard trans and gear in ft worth carry the gear? Or should I find a junker t5 and swap reverse?

    Any help much appreciated!

Just remove it for weight reduction, maybe you will hit an 8.39...

put some skateboard grip tape on that clutch pedal. you should just replace the sincro's (world class spec)and throw out bearing while its out. sincro kit=80$ throw out bearing $20 and save a headache if u plan on running 7.50s.

I have had 456s and 5 speed. Don't unless you plan on running a 29-31 inch tall tire. when i was cruisin around I could take off in second gear cause 1st lasted about 2-seconds.

This'll be the 3rd time within the last year that Ill have the trans out. Lol.

I planned on doing sycros while I was in there, and find out wtf has been wrong with 5th gear grinding all the damn time.

I'll be adding 70-80rwhp. With more grip. And ~100lbs lighter.
