  • spark plug part #'s

is there a cross reference for motorcraft spark plugs? I need this: AWSF32C but all of the websites for motorcraft say their part numbers look like this: Part Number: 12405 (SP-413).

I've searched google for a cross reference and didnt come up with anything

Go to Napa. Find a competent counter man. And tell him you need a damn motorcraft plug.

AWSF-32C / stock heat range - copper plug
    AWSF-22C / 1 Heat range colder - copper plug
    AWSF-12C / 2 Heat range cooler - copper plug

that sp413 will work. the awsf32c is no longer, that is an acceptable replacement

AGSF32C Is the copper replacement, which is a sp447

      agsf22c is a sp505

I went with the autolite 3923's. They had autolite 3922's but only 5.

I've got one concern with the 40p's and flipped bbk headers. The #2 cylinder plug wire is about 1/4" away from the header tube. I dont know if this is going to be close enough to affect it or not. I havent checked the length of the new spark plugs vs whats in it now yet either. I dont even remember what plugs are in it, they came out of some gt40 heads that I pulled from the junk yard a few weeks ago.

GT40's, but they take the same plug. I think the Autolite 3923 is for E7 heads. That's what i've used in the past for stock heads. I think you want Autolite 764. I believe the length or depth of the plug is different than the 3923 for E7 heads.

                    E7's take a autolite 25

                    the 764 is stock for a gt40 or gt40p

Isn't the 3923 the same as 24-26 but one heat range cooler? I think the depth of the plug is different for it compared to the 764 or the SP-447 for the GT40/P heads.

Could be right, I couldnt get the 3923's to start in my gt40p heads. I tried two different cylinders with two different plugs, nothing wrong with the cylinder threads and nothing wrong with the plug threads. the threads on the two different plugs line up but I think the 3923's are slightly larger.

What's in them is a motorcraft agsf 32fm

Autolite 103's crossrefernced from sp505. Autozone had them.

Heres a pic of the gt40p header issue. The boot doesnt touch but its really close. Maybe some new headers are in order. Gotta pull the header to change the plugs. No checking them at the track for this hoopty setup.

its been a long time, but i didnt think so...i thought they were 3/4" reach

                              24-26 are definitely 5/8 reach
