1000 rwhp street car

how possible would it be to build a 1000 hp street car? debating on my next project and would either want a 69 camaro or an old school stang

With money anything is possible. There several cars in the dfw area already do it.

Single turbo 351.

1000 rwhp is about 1200 at the crank.

If going chevy, definately do a 550+ cubic inch big block with a single turbo.

If going Ford, same thing but in a BBF package.

Be sure to run the best quality fuel system you can afford on it and set it up for E85.

in one of my old mm&ff mags they had a 363cube 8.2inch deck motor with afr 225s and i think a large single turbo and it made just shy of 1k at the wheels. Pump gas with meth injection

At the TS Dyno Day there was a c5 z06 with a ysi on it that made like 1020rw, 93 and meth I think.

this. my uncle had a kenne bell gt500 with 740 whp and he couldn't get that thing to hook up at all. even with 20's and drag radials.
