Damned weeds!

I moved into a new house earlier this year with all new Bermuda sod. Now the yard has weeds popping up. I tried ortho weed b gone and it didn't do shit. Bought some other stuff in a big ass bottle with a spray gun, that didn't do shit either. Anybody have any secrets or ever work for a lawn service that treated weeds?

Roundup, but it's going to kill the grass too. This is pretty much me vs my yard right now.

Most of that shit will die as temps reach mid 80’s, get u some msma for summer grassy type weeds..

I used Scott’s triple action last week as directed and some of the broad leaf weeds are wilting now

I went to a website called wildseed farms and ordered a seed package for what is native to my area and put that in my yard. Now I have prairie grass and flowers that I don't have to mow.

I use Scott's Turfbuilder every year and it kills that shit in about two weeks. I have noticed that if you don't have enough coverage or if you let it sit out, like if you use half a bag and try to keep it for next year, it is nowhere near effective. I have a small yard that is about .25 acres at most and I use a whole 20 lb bag on it.

I have the short stuff in the third photo too...took my Bermuda forever to get growing this year (especially after the Army Worm invasion last year) but its slowly choking out that stuff and I'm "rooting" for it...har har har.

Now the Dallis grass/Crabgrass I have to manually pull up by hand. I might do surgical nuclear strikes on each one with Round up...dont' know yet.

Weeds thrive cause the grass is weak due to bad soil. Feed the soil an organic a few times of year and it will get better-May take a season or two
