weed always made me lazy. Most dopers I have been around seem to not care about anything except smoking. Then of course it opens the gate to other drugs to escape reality.

You can see that the stuff will eventually be legal everywhere. That's good news for other drugs that have a much more profound effect on changing people's lives for the better. Such as LSD, DMT, mushrooms, etc. I'm curious as to how they'll deal with that next. You've already legalized weed, which itself becomes psychedelic if you turn it into the jellies they used to eat in france a couple hundred years ago. So its like once you open that door, where do you stop?

jluv is spot on, it is really wild to think we are in the middle of the end of a prohibition in our era. I really hope this shakes up all of the industries that have become so powerful in America.

Jluv I bet 10 years max it'll be legal everywhere. Its going to be a interesting industry to watch forms and the government regulation that will eventually be placed on it vs state level, or that may already be done and I don't know about it, cause well not a smoker.

I just see what it does for people as a medicine. I've got a horrible skin issue the past few years due to inflamation, I'd love to try the cbd stuff to see if it would help.

It's ridiculous, yes. But that's what you get when you have so many old-fashioned/holier than thou ignoramuses who are fine with standing up against personal freedom. Those same people know deep down inside that they're wrong, so they concede partially by allowing the progression of pot for "medical" use. It's also a way to make them feel like they aren't losing - "No lo contendre" comes to mind. The pot industry supporters get their foot in that door and then open the Trojan Horse, which is really just the widespread acceptance of a drug that gives folks some type of satisfaction relatively safely and sustainably, with minimal downside. Eventually, those old folks will die off, and weed will be as widely accepted as alcohol. Oh, the horror!

But really, I think it's cool as shit watching it all happen real time in front is us. This is history! Some people say I'm crazy, but I think weed will be legalized nationally in the next 20 years. Maybe half that. And naturally, of course, that includes Texas.

Could all be bs too jluv, remeber at one time they said smoking cigarettes where good for you.

I just hate false advertising, and think it's cool it's legal for the folks who need it. But accomplishing something under false pretense is kinda shitty. I'd rather say hey guys let's get stupid fucked up, but also this shit will help a ton of people
