  • Going to Cabo in the spring, anybody been recently?

Haven't been before and just looking for what to expect. Been to Cancun, Cozemel and PDC. Staying in town close to the marina. Anything to be wary of or things that we must do? Gonna be me and the bride.

My only suggestion is to not go through with the wedding.

The bungalows. We wanted to try something different than the all inclusives. That place has very good reviews and is really close to the marina and restaurants. Not sure what other activities we have planned yet but we are gonna stay a week.

Ahh, so you're actually in town. Have you been to Cabo before?

A few streets over from you is a place called the Crazy Lobster. It's a streetside cafe that has some delicious yet very well priced (cheap) food... and dirt cheap tequlia shots (8 pesos last time I was there). If you go out fishing, catch whatever, and take some there they will cook it 4 or 5 different ways for free.

There's a really good italian place (I know, I know, you're in MX...) called Salvatore's in the courtyard of a hotel around there also.

For some higher-end seafood and steak head to Lorenzillo's at the marina.

For an awesome dinner spot with the wife head to Sunset da Mona Lisa. It's about 15 min out of town, north up the coast. You MUST get a sunset reservation.

We have a place at Grand Solmar which is just around Land's End on the Pacific side, and we're moving to their property (Rancho San Lucas) just up the coast in 2018. Of all the vacation spots in MX, Cabo is my favorite. We love the old desert feel as opposed to the jungle stuff on the Yucatan side.
