Hah, nothing personal there. If it's any consolation, I like yours more than most 10-12's. Great wheels/stance go a long way.

Oh I know! I'm the same way about other people's cars. I can only own so much shit. So I get what I like for me, and enjoy other people's cars vicariously.

I think I've sent you a link to this one before. I know it's out of your price range, but damn... For Sale: GT500-Swapped 2009 Bullitt Mustang
I'm not on S197 forum (obviously) so what's the price on this little gem?

          $35.5K

That's a lot of scratch, but that's also a pretty amazing car. Surely couldn't build it for that.

          Edit: Lowered to $29,900.

Edit #2: S197.com has proved to be a great resource. They actually talk about cars there, lol.

I really like the 05-09 cars. Its nice they can run an 18 and still look good.

It would be cool to find a cheap one and swap a coyote motor.

18 inch wheel or 18 second quarter? lol

I wish that coyote swap was an easier project. It's apparently really involved and not cheap.

Yep. Lots of changes to chassis wiring, fuel system, and even the steering is different. There is no provision for a mechanical power steering pump on a coyote, as they all have electric power assisted racks. It would probably be easier to buy a '11+ and reskin it.

Probably right. An 05-09 look with a coyote and 2010+ hips in the quarters would be sexy though. Somebody (Danny?) needs to find me a pic of that.

A guy on S197 did it (South America), and it looked like a HUGE pain in the ass. The CAN bus wiring doesn't mix, so all of the wiring has to be replaced.

                            2011-2014?

That could be a really cool looking project. Put a plain grill on the front, de-wing it, set it on 08-09 Bullitt Wheels... I like it.

I've seen it done a couple of times. IMO the '10+ body just isn't suited to the plain "Bullitt" look as much as the '05-09s (and '01 for that matter).

Maybe not. (damn that 08-09 looks good though).

People have clearly played with the idea to varying degrees of photoshop success. (sorry for the too-big photo)
