Canadian vehicle?

Just found out the truck I am looking at came from Alberta, Canada.

1- Do they have a lot of salt/etc from the snow up there? (ie- should I be considered with rust already)

2- Any stigma to folks here if they were looking at a vehicle and it came from Canada?

It would have to be really cheap, or hard to find to make me what to drag something out of the frozen white north. It is 11 1/2 months of winter and 2 weeks you can't use your snowmobile there .

I can't imagine it wouldn't be a rusted heap, let alone all the bs with customs, etc to get it out . no thanks

It's already in Seattle, that is the dealer that has it. I just realized after looking at the carfax it came from Alberta. That's most likely a deal killer.

true, but what I like about this one specifically is the 6.2L engine, Magnusson supercharger, custom tune, Corsa sport exhaust, AMP power steps, etc. It has about $13,500 in mods done, the exact mods I was going to do to a stock one that yes, I could find locally.

It's a 2012 with 31k miles.

If Alberta is anything like Seattle it probably doesn't snow much there. If it was the north east portion of Canada I would probably stay away.

I see corrosion on the throttle body and front brackets, that's made of aluminum. Can only imagine how bad it is underneath. Would not buy without detailed under body pics
