Sorry to hear that.
My last remaining grandparent is 82, she was just diagnosed with lung cancer and is set to have a lobe removed on the 8th. She is a spry old bird, really sharp, active, etc. Never smoked a day in her life either. She is pretty freaked out. But in the end, we all have the same finish to the book.
