I have a loveseat that desperately needs to go that is in the for sale section. It was originally priced in the four figures.

If there is a family out there who has been recently displaced due to extenuating circumstances, id be willing to let them have it for free as charity work.

Look, I need to have it gone and do not want to throw it away. The first $100 takes it.

If you donate it, you can (concievable) take more tha $100 off your taxes. Plus you'd be helping a charity of your choice. Most have a pickup (volunteer) option for large and in good condition items.

I would jump on the tax write off, but we've already donated about $2,000 (used price) in furniture to a family who suffered in a house fire, as well as an electric couch/loveseat set and 4 tables to another family, plus a bunch of knick knacks to good will.
