I used to ask myself this type of question a lot. I used to wonder why on certain things like adhesive spray or anything else that could be dangerous had stupid warnings like do not spray directly into eyes. Then you watch the news and hear some of the retarded stories just like this.

There are stupid people out there, and as stupid as it may sound or look, it still has to be written for those of us that are less competent.

It's a necessary evil, pick one. Unfortunately terrorists have ruined this country and made our liberties shrink at a high level. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. As far as every day products being dangerous and having warnings on it, you can thank Frivolous lawsuits and suing one another for that. Its ridiculous why we have to have warning labels and have protections on everything. Its made a mockery of our way of life.

You didn't point out any "one or two stories" but that is what you basing your comments off of, the one or two instances that this has happened. Nothing is 100%, I am sure out of all the pat downs vs ball fondling, it would be less than .5%. Flying isn't 100% I guess you are afraid to fly? Driving your car isn't 100% that you won't get into an accident I guess you don't drive?

The percentage in which these "security" people are fondling balls, it is a one off cases and you should be angry at that individual, not the cause. I doubt there is a line in their training manual that says, cup balls firmly to check for contraband. Again, this is "ignorance". Ignorance is thinking that such actions have only happened once or twice because it has only been reported once or twice on mainstream media, or because it hasn't ever happened to you.
