You mean people upset about that due process violation. I mean, who really needs that. Mind if I search your house? If you don't have anything to hide...

Haha not even in the same ballpark Frost.

This is an option, it's not required. You can contest any criminal offense, but your fellow citizens choose to waive their right to due process and pay it forward, frequently. Feel free to contest, others wish not to and just want to pay up and move on. Who are you to say they can't?

How dense do you have to be to NOT see how this could be abused?

Couldn't that be said for everything pertaining to criminal justice? How about seeing how its working in other states that emplimented it and give actual fact instead of theories. Speaking from an officer stand point I don't give two shits if you pay the ticket or not, I've already done what I needed to do. Its not like I see any bonus or get a free toaster for you paying a ticket...

Of course not, you get MRAPs, fully automatic weapons and flash grenades to protect citizens...

How about we don't implement shitty ideas to begin with? Especially ones that don't really benefit anyone and present a conflict of interest.

And you not getting toaster means nothing, I don't know why you guys say that like it is proof of anything. All of this money goes to departments and agencies. In fact, based on how the Dallas DA has been abusing the system for his own personal gain, if you were smart you would be mad you AREN'T getting a fucking toaster. He sure got his toaster.

But your department does and it was partially funded by property seizure too, which is theft. You'll have to pardon us if we don't think you can be trusted to collect money on the side of the road.

Like I said show me stats where its being abused and I'll jump on thr bandwagon. I personally think its good because it allows people to take care of their business instantly if they choose plus frees up resources and officers from court assignments.
