    1st one I ever bought was the S&W 686 stainless. Still have it.

      I don't recall which one I got first.
      Was either the Ruger Security Six or Ruger MKII.

                      My first hand gun was a Jennings 9mm, what a piece of shit. Gun would jam every 3rd shot. I ended up giving it to a friend that lived in a shit neighborhood at the time and bought a Kimber 1911 ultra carry II. So the first decent hand gun I bought was the Kimber.
