    I got a call I didnt want to get last night

    My brother's T-top Gt has been sitting dormant for the last couple of years. I had a conversation with my stepdad last weekend about it, and that it needed some time spent on it and to run right. Well, one of our friends we grew up with that lives close to my stepdad pulled it out, charged the battery, and got it running... for 5 mins before it caught fire. His intention was to drive it to me at my shop so we didnt have to trailer it. I have yet to see it, or the damage, but they say it's fairly light, but wiring is burned, fender liner on the passenger's side it melted, etc.

    I guess I have a bit more work to do shorty.

    Well that sucks, at least it didn't burn to the ground.

          Better that then a few blocks away from the house with no chance of putting it out quickly. I guess?

            yeah. He said he grabbed the garden hose that was next to his driveway and hosed it down while the fire department was on the way, and they were able to put it out. All he could do was keep it from getting worse.
