  • question about horseshoe slots

i have an offer for $400 in free slot play at horseshoe but ive never really messed with them. how do i turn the free slot play into real money? is it basically everything over $400 is mine or what? i always play black jack and never really pay attention to the slots. was thinking of trying to play a $1-5 machine and just hope it hits something. thoughts?

There are two marks on the machine showing how much money is in play, the freeplay and regular. You can load up all $400 at once if you want or do it in whatever increment you want but there isn't any way to cash it out.

    They have $100 slots btw.

If I win with the free play I can't get actual money?

When you win it goes into a separate account from which you can withdraw and keep the money.

It plays all the free play money and stacks the winnings in another pay line.

I was in Biloxi for my bday and ended up with almost $200 in Freeplay. I ended up hitting a few hundred on a machine, free trip.

Say you bet $1 of the free money (I believe you have to actually insert money before the machine will start, then setup an account with a PIN) and win $100.00 You'll have $399 on the free play side still and $100 on the regular side, you can cash out the $100 or play until it's empty. Then when it's dry you can draw more off the freeplay side. Or switch machines, get a printout for the $100 and start over with $399 freeplay.

They aren't actually giving you anything of value this way.

I would load the $400 into slot machines $20 or $40 at a time. The machine will NOT let you cash out the free play, but as you win you can cash out.

            IE:

Put 20 in a $1 slot machine. Play $1-$3 a spin. You play (3) $1 spins and win $5, hit the cash out button and you will get a ticket for $5 and $17 will remain on the machine.

You can also go to a cashier and get promotion chips. These chips cannot be cashed back in, but when you play blackjack they will pay you in real chips. I believe if you bet $5 and win, you would get $10 in clean chips and they would take the promotional chip.

I think I'm lost. If I put $100 freeplay in a $5 machine and win $100 I would have 100/100 correct? $100 really $100 play. I can then cash the real money right?

No and yes. You would have 100 yours, 95 free, if you made one $5 spin and won. And yes, you could cash out the winnings.

If you won your first spin, you would have 100 cashable and 95 free play.

I would put it all in $5 or $25 machines, they seem to pay better.

OK gotcha. Like I said I always stick to card games so I'll probably do a $5 slot or something like that. Thanks guys.
