1978 Ford Fairmont

I came across at 1978 4 door Fairmont.. Im curious if these are valuable to the right people.. I know the 2dr is the popular on but this one is 97k original miles V6 Interior is in excellent condition (baby blue color sames as exterior) the body is pretty straight other then the rear fender that is bent up pretty bad.

I got a good deal but wondering if its worth throwing money into.

if it is really clean, there might be a buyer out there for it. Ive seen some decent 4 door's go really cheap that I thought was an outstanding deal. I missed out on a cherry futura a few weeks ago that only had 70ish k on it, and everything worked, no major flaws. Went for like 2000.

Yeah, the metal recycler will give you about $400 for it.

Quarter panel damage is a major blow to the value of any vehicle. You can't just bolt another one on. If it's much more than a grand I wouldn't waste my time with a 4 door unless you just intend to drive it around as a cheap beater.

1k for a 4 door? I think a 4 door should go for 400-500$ mint.

Theres a clean 2 door a few hours south east for 1,000$ white with blue interior.

You would be amazed at the new old stock stuff on ebay for fairmonts.

They are worth what you are willing to pay.

Mine is a decent 2 doorbox top. I paid 1000.00 for it once i had all the title crap done. Started out at 700.
