If you pay attention to mfr's warranties, they are often dependent upon the purchase of a new box spring with mattress. They will deny warranty if you didn't buy them at the same time. Which I think is odd, because I would think a supported platform would be better for a mattress to begin with.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Dig deep and get a good one from a reputable place. Cant put a price on a good nights sleep. Even if the knock off store provides good waranty replacement, what if they close up shop?
The good thing is that the warranty is 10-years and was truly no questions asked...they brought us a new one, took the old one, and I didn't have to lift a finger.
We also found a decent solution to the summer heat problem.....one of their reps recommended bamboo sheets, which helped considerably...but also a bit pricey for the good ones.70' Chevelle RagTop

I've abused a spring air queen for the past 11 years and it still sleeps great. It survived a shattered box spring and a bed frame snap. It has a little center sag now. The (few) girls always compliment how good they sleep but that might be from the roofies.

That was the condition of the warranty on what I bought last year. Kind of sucks, I was just going to reuse my old one. Those fuckers better not deny anything if I ever have any problems.

We had the Westin type Stearns and Foster "heavenly bed" that after five years wasn't so heavenly and despite their warranties- somehow, ours wasn't hollowed out enough to qualify.
Tried one of the middle of the line Tempurpedic foams priced at about $2200 but traded up to the Rhapsody model with the gel top within their 30 day time limit. Pricy at about $4 grand- but wife and I no longer wake up with a sore back so it's worth it.Last edited by William Banks; 06-02-2014, 12:40 PM.
