    Congratulations!
It is the best and worst experience . I wouldn't trade it for anything. Great your parents are excited too. Makes it that much better.

          Its true you are old.

I still cant fathom children, but congrats man. Your dad looks happy. He will get your kid high on sugar and send him home to you.

Mine is 4 months now and loving every minute of it...

though one thing I dont see mentioned, get some sleep while you can. The night of and while your in the hospital you will be jumping up every hour while your wife lays in the bed in labor. Not sure if you are the cranky type if you are woken up (I was) but just be prepared for it.

And then pretty much every night for awhile you will need to wake up and make bottles at 2 am, 4am, 5-6am...etc

It is a lot of work, but when he starts interacting with you and you can see them learning and soaking it all up, its worth every moment. My little man is already trying to stand, walk and talk to us, he just doesnt have the skills yet.

Yeah, I'm really not looking forward to that part, but I have only myself to blame.

We're trying to pick out names now, my mom and her dad's gf have been going crazy buying us stuff already. We applied for a house this week, and I'm working on getting a second job since Samsung is just part time until a full time position opens up. Doing whatever I can to save some money until he's born.

Can’t go back, the only direction is forward and sometimes, it is easier said than done but one thing I am excited about is the kiddo really helps me just get to it and get er done.

Names, a bit like shopping for a house, so many to chose from, only a few for you and you have to settle on one. Most of my family is a Jr or Sr, which I did not want. I wanted him to have his own identity in a way. He already has my last name, my genes and my dashing good looks so why not give him something unique. My name is Chris, my dad is Carl and my cousins/uncle's are all Cliff....so I named my son William, lol

Either way, it is a hell of a ride, puts life in perspective in a way you have never imagined and you will realize that the foundation you give him today is the building block of his entire life. It’s what got you where you are today, thanks to your parents. Just think, where do you want him to go?

Sorry man for the long winded reply, I do get excited just thinking about everything you are about to go through, everything I have been through and the idea that here we are again, able to do anything in the world you want to do, it’s just our children now instead of us. Teach him your experiences, teach him your lessons and he will find his way.
