so now with extra time on my hands I decided to clean up the back yard, I want to get rid of all the trees back there along the fence line to add a new fence, only thing is I dont want to have to dig out all of them, I spent almost 3hrs on one today and still not done with it and with over 10 trees I could be out there all winter. is there anything that works that will kill the roots so I dont.have to dig them all out??? TIA

Can you get a tractor back there and pull them out? If not get the stump grinder out and get to work.

Its still hard work, but the tractor method works best for me.

I paid a guy like 75 bucks to come grind 10(?) stumps at my house in Hurst.. was head and shoulders a better choice than drilling and killing them then still having to pull them out.

That is an excellent price for that many! Prices I was given in the past were like $25 per stump or more. I have a few I would like to have ground down.
