Then a few months later we hit the debt ceiling debate and in December, the CR ends and the debate begins again for Jan onward.
I also think that's pretty close to what will happen. It depends on the public feedback to the house/senate. It's VERY important that we (as a nation) express our displeasure with Barry-Care by contacting our Reps and Senators. They DO respond to the public. It was proven with the gun control issues recently and now immigration reform is taking a back seat. The only thing those assholes fear is NOT being re-elected. They can be bought by the threat of being sent home.

Reid doesn't want to do a vote on Obamacare again. It cost him seats last time and it will again, especially with unions pissed that they aren't exempt.

A lot of people don't understand the strategy on this issue. Any kind of vote shows a true "head count" of the congressmen that "approve" of this horrendous hunk of monkey shit. With mid-terms coming in a year, it WILL give the republicans (and conservatives) fodder for gaining seats in both houses.

Election season should be quite interesting this mid-term. It's gonna get nasty!!
God I love watching self righteous jackasses in smear campaigns against each other. Maybe they'll actually do more than bitch & mudsling, but I won't hold my breath.

Senators like McCain and other RINOs don't like this because it forces them to either vote with democrats against their constituents and be hit with a primary or vote against Obamacare and possibly vote against their interests. Quite a few dems don't want to vote on this either. Reid is going to pull every trick he can to keep it from coming to the floor for a vote where everyone's vote is counted.

He'll try for a voice vote to give cover.
