        I regret having long hair during the summer. I bitch about it every year working out in the heat. It gets hotter in the shop than it does outside; with the garage doors open. Light lunches, sun screen and plenty of fluids make the heat tolerable.

            It's 56 right now in Simi Valley. It *might* hit 80 today..... or not.

            The heat is the main thing that i sure don't miss about Texas.

              My gf had a badass 1955 ranch in Palos Verdes. I tripped out when I saw it had no a/c and a modest gas heat system. But it was perfectly fine, since it never got hotter than low 80s the whole time she lived there.

                Leave the doors mostly closed, but use fans to move air in and out. It also helps if there are doors or windows on more than one wall.

                  No can do. There's no ventilation whatsoever. Plus we have to keep them open for deliveries.

                    Compared to last year (40 days in a row of 100+) I will take this any year. We got a little rain shower today in Keller.

                    Last year sucked, this year has been a cakewalk.

                    I hate how hot it is at 8:30 at night, seems ridiculous to be sweating like someone sprayed me with a hose that late at night.
