When I get store-bought sauce, it's Famous Dave's Rich & Sassy. It's pretty close to what I make for myself. It's just the right thickness, and a good balance between sweet and spicy.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Spring creeks sauce. It's also the only thing that is good there besides the rolls.

I like thinner, usually vinegar based sauces. My wife likes the thick kc masterpiece types.

I voted other, because... it depends. Which meats, which method and how long it takes to cook, etc.

But for the most part, no vinegar, wet types early and ~maybe~ a thick right before serving.

I really don't like very much sauce on what I smoke, but a small amount at the end of the smoke is about all I'll ever do. If you want sauce here then you can add it when you plate your food.
