Anyone ever bought a HUD house ?

The house is a turd ,could be made into something but..best guess ..

bulldoze it

asking 44,000

Realtor thinks they will take 25,000

I'm thinking less ..

bare lots on snob knob go for 32,500 ..


He told me he didn't completely understand how the HUD thing works

I'm thinking lot is worth $19,000 but, it will take $5,000 to clear

so .. maybe like offer ..$12,500 ?

Whatever hud asking they will not take less until it at investor bid phase. Ehivh is 30 days from owner occupant. They will relist it 3 times if they have to but will not sell for lesss no matter if house is worth 100 K and needs 80k in repair to make liveable. Still will not sell for less

It has been listed as of today for 66 days

and as of today, no bids placed (according to realtor)




ps, the house was built in 1900 and should be condemmed
