Employees at Bestbuy do not get employee discounts on TV's, believe me when I said I tried when my son worked there when he was in high school.

Also buy a Samsung LED, sharp QC is junk.

Employee discount is usually only around 20%...
20% of 1,099.99 is only $219.99. Which would make it $880...

TV's and audio are some of the highest discounted. I know I bought the beats head phones for my son retailed at $299.99 for $178.00 out the door. That is a tad more than 20%.

The discount is 5% above cost, if something was for sale for 149.99 and cost was 100.00 employees would pay 105.00 there is definitely margin in tv's and as already stated if you offer one of the young kids there some cash chances are they will buy it for you
