They wanted $2000 for basically a cull, 120-130 class. That is about average, most are around $1500 for that size. They did have decent prices on rams so will probably go back during the off season.

      Buddy is going next week, $7500 for a 160 and $13500 for a 200+.....

      • Hope to see here before end of season..From looking at the pictures her right rear leg is injured in some way as she keeps it up all the time..Will be interesting to see...If killed I will keep the cape to have tanned and use the head for a mount with a set of random horns...

PA where I typically hunt, has quite a few bears. Its fun walking through the woods before sunrise and seeing their saliva glistening on the leaves. Most of the time they leave you alone, as the the sun rises you can see them -dark figures running through the brush.

            • Ok so deer season is over, this guy doesn't really care...I am a very avid pig hunter. I put some stuff out a week and a half ago to see if I could get a new wallow going. What are some of the things you guys put out to get the pigglets coming in? Oh yeah and

              • Late season is open for me.

Only problem is I shot to many deer in my unit. Good news is I have a place to go.

Yeah my buddy has already got a buck and a doe with one of my rifles, he goes for the deer, but like I said now that the season is over for us, we need some new ideas for getting the hogs in.

Not doubting it, but a lot of folks see big bobcats in the warmer months without their thick, spotted coats and confuse them for lions. Not saying they are not in Texas, they are just more reclusive....

Here is your bear in Texas, Terrell county:

                            • Gota love West Texas. I love working Del Rio to Alpine because of all the wildlife you see. Plus the desert really comes alive with just a little bit of rain. Last week a mountain lion was killed 45 miles west of san antonio. They said it was a young male and weighed 90lbs. They are around and closer than you think.
