  • F Cancer.

    Just say'n.

We are back in Harris for pnemonia (sp) and it sucks. Although, Daddy'O is in high spirits. The hardest part for me is seeing him have to face things he never thought he would. We had to have blood transufions yesterday and he was very, very against it but we finally had to spell it out, Blood or death. Just breaks my heart to see someone so strong have to struggle to lift themself up in a sitting position. Now he is up chatting on his phone (about work, of course) and drinking some coffee but still stuck here in the hospital.

    Prayers are always welcome.

I’m too slow for the fast cars and too fast for the slow cars.

I feel for you. Just spent 45 days in Lubback with me father in law. He is home and healthy now, but we thought we were gonna loose him a few times.

I'll keep your Dad in my prayers.

My father died in '73 from lung cancer, my mother in 2006 from cancer, my sister in the late 90's had several tumors removed and my brother had several lymph nodes removed last year that were cancerous. It is horrible, and I feel for you guys. My best hopes go out to you.

Both of my Dad's parents were lost to cancer (lung), before I was born. My grandfather lost his battle (prostate), 7-8 years ago. Most recently, my wife lost an uncle and her father, who I was fairly close to, to cancer this past year (both lung).

I certainly feel your pain. I'll do a rain dance, and I'll pray (though he doesn't listen to me).

Prayers are always good... I am a survivor and it has been very tough at times at 41 years old to be able to get up in the morning and put clothes on... to think straight in a day, or to walk down the stairs. I have been at this for a diagnosed 3.5 years and all of my deals with God have been made. My little one is old enough to remember me on her own and each and every day is just another positive thing.

I will pray for him and wish him the best!
