Dude-report it to the airline as lost and found. Craig left his Ipod in the back of the seat on the way back from Vegas and no one ever turned it in. It fucking sucks. Don't be 'that guy'.

I travel with a back pack full of 2 laptops, and various other electronics, and could easily think that everything is packed, when it isn't. An ipad would be the least of my concerns in terms of losing something.
