Gas is the reason we sold my nicer truck to get a not so nice truck and a civic to drive to work. I was spending about $400 a month in gas with the truck to work. I should be spending $200 or less a month with the civic.

Peeps will justify a 30% permanent commodity price increase while overall cost may go up 10% in the short term.

Sold my GMC Sierra and bought a hybrid Honda CRZ. Just got back from a trip to New Orleans and 41 to 45mpg was the norm!

I just got tired of putting 100 bucks in my truck every week! Now I put 30 dollars every OTHER week!(10 gal tank)

I know I gave up a lot of comfort but the savings at the pump or lack of pump visits more than makes up for the lack of room in the vehicle.

The Civic hybrid gets better mileage than my CRZ! The salesmen say that it gets over 50!
