Looking for a 9mm. Thoughts?

Kahr Cw9

FNS9c

Don't think I can go wrong with either but would like the gun gurus opinions.

I'll add I'd like to stay round $500 or less.

The choice made will be my conceal carry.

A Glock is a Glock is a Glock. The g19 is my go to gun when I am teaching new shooters. Everyone appears to be able to shoot them well.

I tried an M&P and did not care much for it even after installing some Apex parts into it.

The XDMs are outstanding shooters and I have several but I don't know a thing about the XD mod 2.

The Kahr looks attractive and I have heard nice things about them but I don't own one and can not remember ever having fired one.

The mod2 is basically a reskin with changes to the grip mainly. It still has the high bore axis and 6 o'clock hold.

I had the xd40sc but it was too snappy

Not a fan of the .40 short and weak cartridge. I like 9mm and if it ever came down to it I am sure that it will kill just like all the rest.

Since you have the cw9 on there I would also look at the shield as it is a single stack as well. I have a cw9, g19, and shield 9mm and like the shield the most for concealed carry, plus it has the best trigger out of the 3. If you want something smaller than that fo carry the kahe cm9 is a good choice as well. Honestly if I had to do it all over again I would probably buy a g26, g19, and shield 9mm. I like both my kahrs alot, but they are my least favorite out of the bunch and I dont carry the g19 often because of the grip length. So that said if I were to recommend my top 2 it would be shield 9mm and g26, neither of which are on your list.

Shield is a good gun...not the smallest 9mm...but not big or heavy. I like the Ruger LC9 and the Keltec PF9....can't get much smaller...maybe the Diamondback DB9 (which will come apart if you fire +P thru it). Tons of options. 9mm is a great choice...probably the best overall all things considered.

That PF9 I carry has had quite a bit of rounds through it. I also don't mind if it gets holster wear or scrapes and scratches. It's truely been a perfect daily carry.
