Some magazines are finicky and as usual, 1911's have to be clean. I started using gun grease instead of oil and all my issues went away....but damn does it get dirty.

    BTW...that price at Bud's is GREAT!
    Good to know! Been saving up for that gun, and will probably be able to order it in about 2 weeks. It will be my first 1911, and I was looking for a good entry level. Sounds like it is a good one for that purpose.

      Isn't the Sig 1911 the one they offering a free 1911 .22 model for free with purchase till end of month?

        yes, but finding a shop with inventory to be able to do it is rare. Academy has some, but rare. Our local shop couldn't get the inventory needed from Sig who threw their hands in the air and said oh well. Local store did right and knocked $100 off the .22LR versions IF they had them in stock.
