Is it advisable(or legal) to sell/ship a ar-15 within the state of Texas without using a FFL?
I think shotguns are legal but dunno if AR's are.

You dont need an ffl to ship a rifle to a buyer within the same state.

May have some issues with the carrier shipping it, there are several posts on different tx gun forums about UPS refusing to ship weapons due to "company policy"

I told the buyer( in midland) that I would be more comfortable using FFL on both ends, he said "no thanks" and backed out of the deal!
Oh well, red flag in there somewhere.

I'd say no thanks too. Waste of time and money to use a FFL

UPS stores wont ship them... they are private.

i thought there was a requirement for overnight (less hands to make it disappear), but not sure
