Badass StreetFighter X Tekken

Tekken rocks.
Soul Calibur rocks.
They were both pumping out awesome fighting games while street fighter took a nap, or kept making 3d wanna-be crap.
Mortal Kombat did the same. Made pure crap for almost a damn decade.

Now SF and MK are going back to their roots, and making some awesome games. I'm going to buy this, and play the shit out of it.

When Tekken X Streetfight comes out, i'm going to do the same. I get 2 inches of pure love growing in my pants at the thought of a company like Namco porting over Street Fighter into their 3d world and gameplay. it'll finally be Street Fighter in 3d the way is should have been when they goofed up with the street fighter ex and rival schools series.

Agreed, but fighting games on ps3 controller > fighting games on xbox controller.

FPS, racing, and just about everything else get nabbed on xbox. RPG and FIghting always get bought on my ps3.

Plus when it comes to fighting games, the ps3 community out does the xbox community. In the same way the Xbox community does it to the ps3 community in cross console fps games.

IMO Tekken characters would whoop SFs ass, their moves are just more unique, most of the moves for the SF characters are basic. You can kind of see what I mean in the second video. SF has the edge when it comes to projectiles though. eg:hadouken

When Tekken x Street Fighter is made, projectiles won't mean crap when you can side step them.

BTW, Tekken is dead. I only watched the vid to see if they incorporated depth into the game, and from what I could tell, they diddn't. It's a SF game with characters from a dead franchise(Tekken).

You do realize there are two games being made here, right? This is just one of the two. the other pulls the street fighter characters into the tekken world.

Soul Calibur and Tekken games take a little while longer to make, so there are considerable gaps in their deployment dates when engines are changed or upgraded.

Who would've known that Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, and Marvel Vs Capcom were really all the same games with just different names? Shit, they foold me!
