Just got Uverse internet.
Modem/router: Pace 503INV
Router:Linksys WRT54GL w/DD-WRT
I had a regular DSL modem connected to my linksys. Now I have the 503INV in place of the modem and hooked up to my router and switch. I have all my cat5 hooked up to the switch(gigabyte). I turned off wireless on the 503INV so I could use the router. Everything is fine.
Main difference I know on the 503 is that it has wireless "N" which linksys does not. I have the radio bumped up(linksys) from stock to reach out further outside. Should I leave it the way I have it hooked up or should disconnect the linksys and roll with the 503? Which is better to use???
New to this stuff so need a little help.
