ugh....2.3 turbo dizzy death. I had an 85.5 svo do this to me repeatedly.

Mine was due to a mis-machined block. Angle of the oil pump mount was not exactly perpendicular to the dizzy hole / aux shaft. Had to replace the engine block to fix it....Thanks Ford Job 1.
