I'm excited, research is paying off with new information about these Calypso Coupes. I've always wanted to find the original newspaper ads from when these cars were made, and thanks to a local Cougar owner, some have been found. There are more ads, and I'll post them when I get copies.

Getting in this issue was extremely last minute, I didn't even have time to shine the car up more because I was loseing daylight. And I might get a bigger write up in a future issue.

Awesome! I've always loved that car. I'm glad you still have it.

I made it in another one, the Good Guys Gazette, June issue I believe. Behind my car is homealone's 62 Galaxie.

That's bad ass. Always loved that car.

Side note: (and what do I know, you have 100% more bad ass cougar than I do), you gotta find a way to line up those headlight doors. Makes the whole mouth look like it needs braces.

The crooked grill will be going away at some point. I found a straight replacement with good chrome at the last Pate Swap Meet. It only needs a bit of paint, and for me to take a break from home improvements. Also have a 5 speed and new seat covers that need to be installed.
