I wonder how long it would last on a pair of work boots.
As far as I can tell trying to read reviews, it seems iffy on things that move a lot or that get washed with soap/etc.
I'm trying to find uses on boats - or for just wet weather purposes or snow (boots, gloves).
A little new I think at this point to get clear input. Also would like to know how long it stays effective if you put it on something stationary. i.e. bricks or something similar.

guy on my hunting forum tried it on some leather slippers. It works and repels shit like crazy, but it left his once brown leather slippers to look like he put baby powder on them.
