Im not trying to discount your opinion in any way, but I would think its actually the EXACT opposite of what you just said.

I buy a Rolex, because I know it is a quality piece, with a classic style that will last for a lifetime. This HYT watch, is over the top in design, somewhat gaudy with its "lime green" second hand, and at $45,000...Im not sure of any reason why you would buy it, other than to justify the fact that you can. Its not asthetically pleasing in any way.

I think it is a badass piece of engineering, and well crafted.... but, it looks like an eye sore to me, in regards to being an accessory to the clothing you're wearing.

It is all relative to your bank roll. I have quite a few $300 - $500 watches that I bought because I liked how they look. To someone out there this is a "$500" watch they bought because it looked cool.

On another forum I am on one of the members showed his Rolex and mentioned that it was a beater watch, I think it was a Daytona. I started looking back through his post and in one thread he posted 7-8 Patek's. Another thread was post your most expensive watch. He posted some watch I had never even heard of so I looked it up. 100% hand tooled by a single man, only like 2-3 made a year. Price was something like $400k.
So like I said, it is all relative....

The guys in the Arlington Cop slamming the girl into the pavement video in the back porch would love it!

I understand and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Like I said, I like Rolex and want another. The thing I always noticed when I wore a Rolex is when people notice it they instantly ask "What kind of work do you do?" or "I didnt know you were rich" etc etc. When I worked at a car dealer as a salesperson I wasnt allowed to wear it and was told it was because it could scare off customers and make them think I made too much money. LOL

As for the "taste" comment, I was just stirring shit. That or I have no taste since I do like Rolex watches.

OAN I would love that watch I posted but I would have to have a few million in disposable income before I could ever entertain buying such an expensive piece of jewlery.

Both mine keep good time, well within SCOC specs, even the one with the orange lightning bolt.....

It's a bad ass watch, why does it have to be compared to a Rolex? As many of you have pointed out; lots of people have a Rolex, some have several. Not many people will have one of those. That's the point. Exclusivity.
