Took this yesterday at a 13U game.

He drove the ball right at me, luckily I have enough reaction and speed to move myself and a $7,000 camera out of the way.
I really like my Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 lens. I was also using a Sigma 1.4x teleconverter with that shot.

That image is reduced by half in paint.

MYBA does, but you have to go through the background process and be "Approved to Coach"...

horrible swing technique. bet that catcher will quit resting his throwing hand on his lap the first time he gets nailed on the hand by a foulback.

I can. It's just not a bread and butter job for a photog. Shooting cars is easy because you don't have to make them smile.
