Mard. Make me a good deal on that yellow frame? My girl rode mine the other day and loved it. I want to build one for her.

I sold one a few months back... I'll consider selling the yellow "Cat" but it really needs an engine, the one on it now looks good, but needs rings and valve guides (smokes)...

Let me think about the dollars.

Mardyn has a very nice collection of mini-bikes from what I've seen. I would love to have that chopper with the rebel flag on the front. Remind me who made that. If I remember right Mardyn, we exchanged some messages on www.oldminibikes.com a while back. I haven't been on there in forever and need to go back and see what's going on.

My mini is a plain 'ol generic mini that I bought off a kid 4 or 5 years ago. The only thing worth a crap on it when I bought it was the new Tecumseh 5HP engine and the frame was solid. I stripped the frame and painted it purple with a semi-mystic coat on top, had the V guitar looking seat made, replaced the handlebar and footpegt grips and a few other small things. I ordered badass Azuzalite wheels (below) and new tires, but I don't know how to mount the wheels to the tires correctly and then exactly how to replace the rear wheel. Granted, I haven't spent much trying to figure it out, but I might need some help. The thing is a rocket with the 5HP engine, even with my 220lb fatass. It's been sitting for about a year or so, but I've been meaning to fire it up lately. It's fun and I'd love to teach my 12 year old how to ride it this summer.

Here's a really crappy pic from my iPhone of my mini. Yes...I know my garage is a mess:

Here are the wheels I need to put on it:

Oh...I forgot to mention that I've always wanted a Taco mini. This is the one I really like, but there's no way I'm spending $2,500 on a mini. It's the Taco Frijole Super Bee.

Hell if I know. Taco mini's have been crazy expensive for a long time. They started making mini's back in the early 60's and have been a respected mini since then. I've looked for old Tacos bikes a different times and they are/were pretty damn hard to find.

Mardyn - do you know of any place to find Taco bikes?

you like that better then the honda's? i've always found the china bikes to not be as good for wheelies as the crf's, i think it's because the wheel base and frames are not the same dimensions. i threw 88 kits on ours and they haul pretty good (although they are both still 3 speeds)

I got frustrated looking for one. I still search every now and again but still haven't found anything other than the newer ones and I can't afford those.

Is that a Taco 44? Why didn't you keep it and restore it?

As I mentioned in a previous post, I reached a saturation level after doing 4 or 5 of 'em...

Had a cash buyer really wanting the Taco 44 ^^, so I sold it for a fair profit.
