just trying to set a realistic short term goal. i believe a 6.30 eighth or better pretty much puts you in the 9's. with just a cam/longtubes i go 7.00 (high 10's), i figure bumping the hp up 300+ should be good for .7+ seconds in the eighth. if i am not happy running that then i'll have to step up to a forged short block then i'd start wanting something closer to 8's.

Well I been super busy working and I am still waiting on the transmission, intake, and of course the car

But here are so things I done in my spare time

Here is the elctric water pump and some expensive 12an water outlets fittings

I painted the block and the heads black with high temp rattle paint
Also had the K-member and A arms powder coated Satin black (so is the timing cover too)
I purchased and mocked up the new Valve covers with rear vents (awaiting to be powder coated)
Started replacing all the timing and valve cover bolts with stainless steel bolts and washers
Had the headers coated by Jet-Hot
Bought a small 100 amp alternator and cut an ear off so I could mount it to the timing cover
I installed it where the AC compresor was (the car will have a different type of AC unit )
Also there is a Aluminum Moroso oil pan and windage under there somewhere
FYI... the intake and turbo in the pic is just for mock up

pm sent, What are you going with the a/c, there's so little room to mount a compressor elsewhere
