  • New Smoker

I picked this bad boy up this afternoon. The hardest part is fighting the temptation to fire it up. Can't do it until after my patio is completed. It's made by a company out of Uvalde called Lyfe Tyme Pits. They guarantee their Pits for as long as you own them against burn out. One guy I know has been using one for 15 years with no problems. It's a stout sob weighing in at just under 700lbs.

I wish it was that cheap. Cost $1,100 plus another $100 for two temperature gauges.

Thats an interesting axle setup considering it weight.

Looks like they are already bending.

I have had better briskets out of those vertical smokers, versus the traditional smoker, nice pit bro!
                  Wanna see my care face???

LOL I just had to go look to make sure. The wheel is the only thing that turns and it has about a 1/4in of play. In the pic the pit is sitting unlevel so it makes it look like that.

One of my favorite things about this pit is the fire box. No lip so clean up is fast and easy with the rake that came with it.

Makes sense. The rest of it looks well done. Now get some meats in it.

Thats good to know. I've heard these things are a dream to cook on. This is my first smoker. I figured do it right the first time and you won't have to do it again later.

I'd buy one if I knew how to smoke food. I'm a novice griller, but an eager learner.
