  • Paint colors?

Need some help figuring out the best color to go with the brick on my house. I can't stand the current yellow and light olive green but the brick has a yellow tint to it. I'm just not sure what color would go best with the brick.

It really depends on the contrast you want. You could use a darker color, basically carrying the contrast of the roof down, or go with a lither tan/earth tone that compliments the brick

We've ruled out tan and Brown.

Here's the yellow on the house. Wondered how a dark blue like a navy or even a charcoal or dark grey would look.

I would do two colors, just like it is now.

Thinking a dark color where the yellow is and white where the green is.

Ruling out anything with tan or brown is going to be hard with that color brick.

All of our trim is white, but you get the idea. These are a couple of the new elevations we started building

What about some shade of red?

When I first looked at my house it was tan, before I bought it they painted it a charcoal grey. I'm not really in love with it. It feels kinda gloomy all the time.

Don't mind the garage door, this was right after a bad storm in 2013. That's part of a building that hit my house on the right. The doors were replaced shortly afterwards.

I do have a friend with similar colored brick to your that did his trim and shutters(fake) in black. It came out looking good, but he's got a dark grey colored shingle on his roof.

See that works because it has some darker brick in it. We've thought about painting the brick as well.

Grey and white on the trim.

Grey would match the mortar and shingles. White trim would pull out the lighter color in the brick.
