We have been in the house a little over a year. Everything is great. Our builder really sucked but in the end we came out with a nice place. Where are you building? My brother is building on some land next to me pretty quick. He is waiting on the appraisal to come back.

LOL! Yup yards are small for sure. We ended up with a corner lot and are going to build the largest home we can in the developement. We're also gonna rent out our current home in Carrollton/FB, which by the way has a HUGE front and backyard, and let it finish paying for itself... 380 between denton and mckinney is expanding exponentially right now. Jerry Jones owns ALOT of land out there by the tollway/380. At least 2 huge malls, indoor and outdoor, are planned for completion by 2015. Foundation problems... Well this is Texas by the way...
Some Prosper homes for example that were worth 140k just a few years ago are worth more that $300k... I see this as a small investment for the future. Look at what happened in Plano.
That area you speak of, where it flooded, is inside towards the creek... Northeast part of the development. There is a vid on youtube ill try to find of it.Last edited by BoostedD1; 11-20-2013, 07:31 AM.

Personally I bought a house in Krugerville. Fairview Farms to be exact. .5-1 acre lots. I spent a lot more than I planned but in the end I'm 110% satisfied and happy with our decision
