  • residential h2o psi?

I am contemplating a cold storage water container for our house. Can anyone tell me what average water pressure should be coming off the meter?
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Most cities keep their mains between 60 and 90 psi. The only way to know is to put a gauge on it.

40lb minimum. Over 80lbs, my plumber recommends a regulator. High water pressure can really hurt hot-water heaters, fixtures, icemakers, irrigation systems, etc.

THanks guys. We are on a community well and not city so I hope they have it regulated just right.

I am on a quest to put in an emergency water storage system in house and contemplating the possibilities of putting in line so it never has to be drained and refilled.
