Oh, I'm sure. People who think that way are oblivious to the truth. They don't care that they are throwing stones in a glass house. Occasionally you'll see a statement like, "...is believed to have happened...but no evidence has been presented yet..." and all they want to do is convict someone without proof. They are also the same ones that cry #METOO and then it turns out they paid someone off for their own case of being accused of sexual abuse. Gives new meaning to off the deep end.

So your pointing out an echo chamber...in the clearest of echo chambers? This board swings DEEP right republican. I'm not sure a Nixon debate qualifies as an echo chamber, but I think your triggering on any Trump comments you scroll past.2004 Z06 Commemorative Ed.

The political forum on here is a bit of an echo chamber considering how conservative most people on here lean, especially those that frequent the politics forum.1971 Ford Torino - Time to go bigger and better.

The deep left have no problem using outright lies to justify their bullshit. That is what happens when your ideology has a record of failure so blatant that only self proclaimed “intellectuals” can convince themselves “it will work this time”. The deep right, on the other, suffers from a lack of education, adherence to notions of morality that are outdated and overblown fears of the government.
If you can’t tell which of these two groups is more dangerous to the long term health of this country, you are part of the problem.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

I agree this place is an echo chamber. But it's also not the only place I get information from, though it is one of the more local ones.
I'd be willing to listen to reasonable arguments from the left. Are there any? What is going to improve in my life if Trump is impeached and we turn over control of all billion+ dollar corporations to the government (Warren's policy du jour)?
It seems like "the left" is ready to wad up the Constitution with those dangerous first and second amendments, eliminate any distinction between citizen and alien, embrace a hierarchy based entirely on victim class, call for political violence in the streets, and want to make everyone equally miserable with socialism. I bet I can go to cnn.com right now and find an actual article showing that these insane ideas are mainstream or gaining acceptance.
It all feels like an angry reaction to Trump's presidency instead of carefully crafted and reasoned policy. Unfortunately since Trump is right on about 85+ percent of what he's doing, the only meaningful thing the Democrats can do to oppose him is to hitch their cart to any stupid-ass ideas left over. It's not a great platform. When the government pays, the government controls.

90% of people dont realize how fucked up things are. our constitution has been bastardized for 50 years . the original document is a distant past and now is 3 or 4 thousand pages of liberal bullshit facilitated by limp dick republicans like the bushes .. if trump does not succeed in draining the swamp we are done. there will never be another chance.

Why look like an extremist when you don't have to? Nobody brave enough to admit it. The other choices show it well enough, and the fact that zero chose Democrat.
