Lets not forget background checks are required at gun shows for ffl dealers. Private citizens selling/buying are not required by law, so she is basically saying she wants to ban private sales in Texas without background checks. After that she will probably push for common sense license to own, since Texans are all OK with license to carry anyway.

On a side note I have thought for a long time that license to carry could be used as leverage to just add license to own into the law since the infrastructure is already set up. I am a little surprised we have not seen more of that kind of argument.

I have a bachelors of science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M Commerce and am working on a Masters in psychology at the same school and doing online courses for a Masters in National Security from Angelo State. Why?
