If I come across the news report, I will put it up. Depending on the warrant depends on if it was 'making our lives safer.' Those who are willing to give up liberty for safety deserve neither.

“I tell them to contact social services because she is getting government benefits. She is on Section 8 housing, if the state is paying her rent, they should be able to find her,” Griego said. “I have even seen her at Wal-Mart all the time. How hard can it be for authorities to track this woman down?”

What... no , we ATF , we kick doors down,
we no track guns across mexico or easily find our suspect at Walmart instead.
We big bad men , with small brains. We kick ass tho!

I just find it interesting how you blanket condem police without acknowledging that are officers who put their lives on the line to uphold the law. You're starting to sound like someone who only posts military fuck ups that "come across their news feed" with out acknowledging the sacrifices made by us who were just doing what we enlisted for like when you got shot in the head.
I was in no way saying the ATF or any of the other pd's you have mentioned are justified in their actions when they fuck up and I'm pretty sure most would agree that Matt is a psycho douche nozzle; so just keep a little perspective the next time you decide to hate on a pd fuck up. Our brothers aren't the only ones who sacrifice their lives for others. The warrant was for outstanding aggravated robbery btw, someone who committed a violent crime and later barricaded themselves in their apt. That covers the protecting others clause IMO.

Well, if the good cops started cracking down on the bad ones, demanding the police unions boot them and started thinning the ranks of bad, I may change my tune. When you have departments covering up issues, 'losing' video and cops killing pets in their yards and nothing is done?

And like anything, cops who do their jobs and serve the public trust, don't make the news. Just like you wont' see news of us doing our jobs. It's hard to post things up that aren't reported. And how would that work? "Today, a cop didn't beat a citizen, didn't frame him for a crime he didn't commit, didn't use a city police car to speed down 635 while heading to his job at the strip joint while talking on a cell phone and weaving out of traffic?"

Cops who served that warrant, at the right house, knocked and informed those inside of what was going on and followed the law should be commended. In that instance, the bastard who shot the cop SHOULD have been put down like a rabid animal.

The suspect in question did not survive his wounds. I wasn't saying commend every officer for doing their job just saying keep a little perspective sometimes. I'm not a cop and have no desire to be one btw.

This happened 2 years ago and the kid is still sleeping with mommy and jumps over the sofa when someone knocks on the door? Sounds like mommy is enabling instead of helping him to get over it.

Glad the guy died, and it sucks the officer got shot.

That said, it could have likely been avoided with out a gung ho approach.

You really don't understand PTSD do you? I've been out of combat for 8 years and anytime there's a loud pop, I start looking for cover
