I know this has been beaten to death. I have some general knowledge on the subject and I have a couple questions.
1) is the geo vision stuff for PC based video capture still the best? I only need something in the 4ch range and I want GOOD video recording. I see that some of their stuff has a capture rate of over 400 fps. But one card is running over $800 Anything comparable out there thats cheaper?
2) All of the cameras hook up with a BNC connector that to me looks like a standard video component cable. How good can the video quality transfer through that? Why have they not gone to a higher quality cable for signal transfer?
3) I have personally installed this camera before (link below) and for the price it is very good day an night. I can not however find anything that specs out much better. There has to be a way to record almost HD quality security video.
