summer clothing trends for chicks?

I dunno wtf is going on but I just saw several stunners in a couple of different places wearing tiny ass shorts and half shirts and they were all pulling it off well. I thought the first one was just ballsy but after the 3rd one I was thinking this must be some new thing. The tiny shorts are there every summer but I am not used to seeing the bare midriff. Pleasant surprise to say the least if this is the new thing this summer.
