My wife and kid where on the way home from a volley ball tournament when this shit happened. Now they are stuck in an airport in Vegas. they are entering day two of this mess. hotels are all booked up and people are just sleeping all over the airport. I've never felt so useless as I do right now being home without them and unable to help. hoping they can get a flight out today.

every hotel room in Las Vegas is booked up? that's hard to believe. It's Vegas go have some fun! Turn a bad thing into something good. Get the fuck out of that airport. They'll be a ton of flights this weekend and the weather starts to warm up on Friday

BTW you don't have to gamble in Vegas to have fun! There's a shit ton of fun stuff to do! I be damn if I'd sit miserable in the Los Vegas airport

I know that's right! Maybe they don't have any of the hotels at the airport or around the airport and don't want to risk losing a flight, but I'm with you, LV aren't hurting for a lack of rooms.

they are in Miami now. in a hotel. only rooms we could find in Vegas was way to expensive. like hundreds of dollars over our budget. the flight from Minneapolis to Vegas was late, so they missed their connecting flight home. had that not happened, they would have been home by noon Monday before it got bad.

Rent a car and drive somewhere else. And as stated above, there are more places to stay in Vegas than anywhere else. Casinos are the cheapest.

They are now shipping them to Atlanta to try and get them home tomorrow. The delays and shit are one thing, but the customer service is the absolute worst. They literally don't give a shit about their customers, they're simply cattle to them.

I?m an hour and a half from Atlanta. Just was there this summer taking the kids to the Aquarium. That was cool, but yeah downtown is sketchy. Lots of street walkers. Didn?t even mess around after dark and wouldn?t. I would get in and get out.
